Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent; MBA/PharmD preferred.
• 12+ years in payer/PBM, market access, channel strategy, or related fields; advanced degree may substitute.
• Deep understanding of the U.S. payer and trade environment.
• Proven success in design and execution of trade and market access strategies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Pharmaceutical distribution, 3rd-party logistics, and trade economics.
• Excellent relationship management skills with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Leadership to develop and communicate a vision and engage teams.
• Ability to lead large cross-functional projects without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop overarching strategy for Trade channel within specialty and retail pharmacies; ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Provide leadership to assure effective teamwork and transparency between Trade and other functions.
• Monitor evolution of trade models to identify opportunities and risks impacting patient access.
• Identify new, strategic channel partners and programs to support patient access.
• Develop, execute and monitor Trade-driven programs to improve reimbursement and awareness.
• Coordinate sales and marketing communications between Trade and the home office; support Trade Account Executives.
• Serve as internal expert on Trade within specialty and retail pharmacies.
• Lead training on Trade strategies across relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with legal and promotional measures for Trade materials.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on launches, discontinuations, stock and distribution plans.
• Align Patient Support Services and HUB teams with Trade strategy and access initiatives.
• Establish KPIs to evaluate Trade performance.
