Job summary

RFG Advisory seeks a Director, Capital Solutions to lead sourcing of minority investments and tuck-in acquisitions, and to execute deals from term sheet to close. The role can be in our Birmingham office or remote, with hybrid mix and occasional travel to Birmingham.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting, plus proven sourcing and modeling skills to support strategic initiatives and Advisor engagements.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting.
At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role at an acquisitive wealth management firm or broker-dealer.
Proven track record sourcing high-quality investment and M&A opportunities.
Experience building detailed financial models to support minority investments or M&A.
Experience creating IC-style presentations for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Deal Origination & Market Development: build a proprietary sourcing engine and engage Advisors for buy-side opportunities.
Deal Execution: structure and advance Capital Solutions deals, model development, and transaction support.
Sales Enablement: present value proposition to Advisors and translate terms into clear financial outputs.
Prepare memos, deal summaries, and exhibits for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with finance and BD teams to optimize templates, assumptions, and messaging using AI tools.
