Job summary

MTA Construction & Development on 2 Broadway seeks a Director of Project Management to lead capital project delivery across multiple units. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and compliance with contracts, standards, and safety policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in leadership of construction programs. PMP/ CCM certifications are a plus; telework is eligible one day per week after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience and at least 5 years in management of construction programs.
• PMP and CCM certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff to deliver complex capital projects.
• Coordinate project activities through close-out.
• Monitor performance against baselines and pursue opportunities for improvement.
• Identify issues and risks and ensure timely mitigation.
• Review and approve contract invoices and ensure expenditures are charged correctly.
• Ensure safety and quality are integral to project operations.
