Job summary

The University of Utah seeks a highly motivated, student-centered professional to serve as the Director for Campus Support & Intervention. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, the Director will supervise and manage student support systems and provide a developmental context for campus interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, administration and revision of departmental policies and student support and intervention procedures.
• Maintains student support records in accordance with Federal laws and University policies and monitors compliance with FERPA, Title IX and Clery Act.
• Serves as chair of the University’s Behavioral Intervention Team with administrative units to address and resolve issues.
• Oversees communication with students, faculty, staff, parents, attorneys, and others regarding student support matters.
• Provides consultation for students with problems, questions, and concerns regarding sensitive issues.
• Directs student programming and learning outcomes in student support and intervention.
• Develops and analyzes assessment initiatives to foster student success and well-being.
• Provides educational programming and outreach for the University community during orientation and trainings.
• Represents the Office of the Dean of Students on committees and with external agencies as appropriate.
• Supervises Associate Directors for Campus Support & Intervention and the full team.
