Job summary

Lone Star College-Montgomery seeks a Director of Campus Property Services to lead custodial, grounds, maintenance, and all facilities operations across system properties. The role oversees CMMS, budgeting, contracts, and safety compliance, ensuring high-quality service for students and staff.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with Project Development and Planning, and manage a cross-functional team in a zoned, multi-campus environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of work experience.
• At least 3 years in a management level position.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of facilities operations and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage multi-year maintenance and modernization programs.
• Direct and oversee daily facilities operations and CMMS workflows.
• Lead and develop Property Services teams and foster a service-oriented culture.
• Develop, publish, and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and service schedules.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and cost-control across properties.
• Oversee vendor contracts, RFPs, and compliance with safety standards.
• Lead cross-campus project management from planning to completion.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety across operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a liaison to campus leadership on facilities issues.
• Provide after-hours leadership during emergencies.
