Job summary

Lone Star College-System Office seeks a Chief Property Officer to provide executive leadership for Property Services, alignment of assets, and strategic oversight across all locations. You will lead capital planning, maintenance, and space management to advance institutional priorities.

You will direct senior administrators, ensure compliance, manage budgets, and drive performance excellence while balancing system-wide needs and safety of personnel and facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least 10 years of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience must include at least 5 consecutive years in a current or most recent executive management-level position with direct oversight of facilities operations, capital projects, or property management functions.
• Facility Manager or Project Management Certification.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with LSC vehicle use policies.

Responsibilities

• Leads Property Services Vision and Strategy across all LSC locations, including O&M, emergency preparedness, capital projects, and renovations.
• Leads stewardship of the system's physical environment and space resources as a cohesive investment portfolio.
• Manages Property Services budget, funding priorities, and communicates priorities to leadership.
• Ensures compliance with internal/external rules, regulations, and contracts; supports procurement and contract negotiations.
• Establishes performance metrics and drives continuous improvement in Property Services.
