Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Director to lead the deployment and maturation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at the Muskegon site. This on‑site leadership role focuses on manufacturing readiness, visual management, and coaching senior leaders in DBS principles across functions.

You will drive multi‑Kaizen events, align leadership priorities, and connect with Cytiva and Danaher DBS resources to accelerate learning and impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience leading DBS deployment, continuous improvement, or operational excellence in complex manufacturing/operations.
Proven success coaching senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to strengthen operating rigor and accountability.
Deep knowledge of DBS tools, daily management, and lean problem‑solving processes.

Responsibilities

Establish core DBS elements to support Day 1 manufacturing readiness with aligned decisions, resources and execution.
Elevate the site’s daily management system through visual management, leader standard work and accountability routines.
Coach leaders to apply DBS rigor to drive accountability, trust and sustained improvement.
Coordinate high impact multi‑Kaizen events and site‑level improvement initiatives.
Influence leaders to ensure improvement commitments are clear, measurable and followed through.
Connect the site to Cytiva and Danaher DBS resources, best practices and peer networks.
