The Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) is seeking a Business Enterprise Program Director to lead the BEP's daily operations, long-term planning, and overall direction. The role requires understanding the Randolph Sheppard Act and Vocational Rehabilitation to ensure state and federal compliance while expanding opportunities for licensed blind vendors.

This executive position oversees program policies, finances, contracts, and locations, providing guidance and development to BEP

Formación

• Three years experience in food service management such as prioritizing and organizing food service activities.
• Knowledge of financial administration including budgets, forecasting and internal controls.
• Knowledge of program administration and providing advisory support across units.
• Knowledge of operations management including planning, directing and evaluating operations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and directs food service operations managed by visually impaired staff.
• Develops policies to evaluate productivity and profitability of each location.
• Plans program expansion, budgeting, cost estimates and renovations for new locations.
• Develops long-range menus to meet nutritional needs and controls costs.
• Reviews revenues, expenditures and compliance with regulations to ensure profitability.
• Develops training for location managers on trends and requirements.
• Prepares quarterly profit and loss statements for each location.
• Reviews vendor contracts and manages vending operations agreements.
• Addresses businesses and community groups to raise program awareness.
