The Department of Labor – Bureau of Rehabilitation Services Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBVI) in Augusta seeks an Assistant Director to lead program operations, policy implementation, and staff development, reporting to the Director and partnering with state agencies.

You will oversee contracts, monitor performance, manage budgets, and strengthen partnerships to advance DBVI's mission serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Competenze

• Eight years of experience managing or overseeing programs serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
• Master’s degree and/or CRC/COMS/CLVT/CVRT certification preferred.
• Experience leading diverse teams and partnerships with state agencies.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies with the Director.
• Provide leadership and oversight for DBVI managers and field staff.
• Monitor program performance, data, and compliance with federal and state standards.
• Oversee contracts, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Represent DBVI in committees, workgroups, and external settings.
