Basic Purpose:

The Director of Business Development is responsible for building a sustainable pipeline of new and expansion opportunities with customers seeking Contingent services. This senior, customer-facing executive role involves leading conversations with C-suite representatives of hospital systems and internal team leaders. The Director will drive growth through engagement in RFPs, introducing our services to existing Cross Country clients, and direct buyer engagement.

Essential Functions:
  1. Grow the Search business client portfolio in revenue and profitability.
  2. Define Search presentation materials and pitch decks for internal use.
  3. Create Search content for digital marketing, including thought leadership, case studies, and reference materials.
  4. Collaborate with finance on pricing and profitability models.
  5. Coordinate with Delivery leaders on team modeling and strategies for resourcing new engagements.
  6. Evaluate channel partnerships with PE firms, consulting firms, and GPOs.
  7. Negotiate contracts aligned with customer expectations while meeting Cross Country’s objectives.
  8. Develop Change Management strategies and operational review systems.
  9. Drive profitable growth by increasing top-line revenue, gross margin, and contribution income in the workforce solutions division.
  10. Develop and refine performance metrics to measure successful execution of initiatives.
  11. Align division goals with overall company objectives to maximize growth, profitability, and ROI on product development.
Qualifications, Skills, and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Workforce Solutions.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and process control.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with internal and external clients.
  • Integrity-based judgment and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Company equipment such as laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, and headsets will be provided for use during employment.
