Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 4 years relevant education/experience.
• 8 years of data and analytics experience in financial services.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Business and Data Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will shape the strategy and execution of business and data analytics capabilities that support informed decision-making across the organization. The director will oversee data storage, information delivery, and analytics platforms while helping translate complex data into clear insights for executive stakeholders. The position also plays a key role in advancing self-service analytics, strengthening data architecture, and aligning analytics priorities with evolving industry trends.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $164,780 - $314,960 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational responsibilities for data storage and analytics
• Oversee the execution of information and analytics platforms for key stakeholders
• Manage the end-to-end process of information management and delivery
• Integrate industry trends into current processes and strategic plans
• Provide thought leadership on data architecture and industry standards
• Identify reporting opportunities and promote advanced self-service analytics
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively managed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a quantitative field; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
• 8 years of data and analytics experience in a complex financial services organization
• 3 years of leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen in measuring outcomes and understanding industry practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies in project management
• Ability to conduct large-scale data analysis for business decision-making
• Proven storytelling ability through data for executive communication
