Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Director Branded & Specialty Rx Contracts to lead end-to-end negotiations and management of Branded Rx and Specialty Rx agreements. You will work with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure terms meet business objectives and compliance in a highly matrixed healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include negotiating with manufacturers, aligning strategy across business units, maintaining contract language libraries, and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in strategy, business development, or related field required.
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution agreement negotiations on behalf of Cencora business units, coordinating end-to-end contracting and redlining.
• Drive alignment on negotiation strategy between business units and manufacturers with Channel Strategy & Product Access teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations and other functions to ensure input is documented in Branded & Specialty Rx agreements.
• Maintain a library of acceptable variations of standard contract language and serve as liaison for Branded Rx Sourcing and legal teams.
• Represent Cencora in complex negotiations with manufacturers and outline key business terms and alliance scope.
• Proactively update Cencora leadership on pending negotiations and manufacturer updates.
• Comply with contract lifecycle policies and drive process improvements to optimize resources.
• Collaborate with Replenishment Operations, 852/867 Data, Finance to ensure contract compliance and metrics.
• Track contracts and updates to Sourcing technology and CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Work with sourcing managers to drive efficiency with new suppliers.
• Align Branded Rx Sourcing with internal operations (Master Data, Regulatory, Compliance, etc.).
• Perform related duties as assigned.
