Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Director Biomedical Services II to oversee repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance of patient care and support equipment across facilities. You will supervise technicians, manage schedules, and coordinate with leadership to ensure uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include administering the asset management software, reviewing budgets with senior management, approving purchase orders, and driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Certification or Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology required.
• Minimum five years of experience in the biomedical field.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Prior military training and experience preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and other support staff.
• Administers and ensures the validity of the asset management software program.
• Ensures timely work order administration.
• Administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders.
• Reviews financial statements and budgets with senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
