Job summary

BeOne Medicines is seeking a Director, Clinical Biomarkers & Translational Medicine to lead translational medicine and biomarker strategies across oncology programs from early to late-stage development.

The role requires a PhD/MD/PharmD or MD/PhD with 5+ years in oncology drug development, including biomarker leadership and companion diagnostics experience. Superior scientific communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, PharmD, or MD/PhD in Oncology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in oncology drug development with biomarker/translational leadership.
• Experience leading biomarker strategies across Phase I-III oncology.
• Experience with companion diagnostics is desirable.
• Experience with biomarker regulatory submissions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated translational medicine and biomarker strategies from FIH through registration for oncology programs.
• Develop biomarker strategies for patient selection, pharmacodynamics, and predictive/prognostic markers.
• Ensure plans are rigorous, feasible, and aligned with development objectives.
• Integrate clinical, molecular, pharmacologic data to inform strategy and portfolio decisions.
• Lead biomarker-related regulatory activities and collaborate with external partners.
