Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Product Owner to lead banking technology platforms, including core banking and debit cards, translating business strategy into actionable product execution within an Agile team.

You will align business objectives with technical delivery, guide cross-functional initiatives, and define MVPs while maintaining a prioritized backlog and clear stakeholder communications to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or related role.
• CSPO certification preferred.
• Proven ability to achieve alignment across different views and interests.
• Ability to independently manage projects of varying complexity.
• Detail-oriented execution and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for banking technology platforms supporting core banking and debit cards
• Translate business strategy into product execution as Product Owner within an Agile team
• Align business objectives with technical delivery
• Lead development of complex, cross-functional initiatives with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Define product initiatives by identifying customer and partner needs, user problems, and business value
• Partner with User Research and Product Design to establish product direction
• Monitor KPIs, user feedback, analytics, and support trends to evaluate ROI and inform prioritization
• Identify friction points and prioritize enhancements to improve user experience and reduce operational complexity
• Evaluate solution options with technology, architecture, and vendor partners
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and facilitate decision-making
• Define MVP scope, sequencing, and backlog priorities
• Maintain backlog with user stories, acceptance criteria, and capacity-aligned prioritization
• Serve as Product Owner within an Agile delivery framework
• Develop product documentation and stakeholder materials
• Maintain accountability for delivery outcomes and business objectives
