Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Director for Axis - Decision Advantage & AI Applications to own the AI SDLC and convergence forge across Project 137 and BU delivery programs.

You will lead the Axis pillar, shaping its roadmap, IP, and a small elite team of AI/ML, software engineering, and DevSecOps engineers; define standards, tooling, and gates to deliver accredited mission-ready software at speed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building and shipping software for federal scale.
• 8+ years hands-on across cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, APIs, and full-stack/ML development.
• 2+ years leading teams building AI in the loop with governance and evals.
• Experience taking software from prototype to ATO and SBOM/security accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI SDLC and Convergence Forge enterprise-wide across Project 137 and BU delivery programs.
• Lead the Axis product line: roadmap, IP, and a small elite team of engineers.
• Define standards, tooling, guardrails, and gates for AI-enabled software development.
• Drive impact metrics to win work and tie outcomes to mission goals.
• Coordinate integration across Project 137 pillars Matrix, SkyWatch, Groundstate.
