Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund is seeking a Director of Data Driven Impact to build and lead a new department focused on data, AI, and cross-functional initiatives across the company. You will manage three competence areas—project management, a senior developer team, and data stewards—and collaborate globally to drive information flows and automation.

This senior role reports to the CIO and offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to shape technology strategy and staff development.

Qualifications

• Documented management experience, including leading and developing teams.
• Ability to balance short- and long-term goals across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global organization.
• Strong understanding of how technology, data, and information flows create business value.
• Coaching leadership style with focus on staff development.
• Bonus: experience building a team from scratch; familiarity with AI, automation, or data-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Build and head a new department with three competence areas: PM, senior developers, and data stewards.
• Own complex cross-functional initiatives with high dependencies.
• Drive use of new technology, including AI, across the company.
• Shape information flows and automate where possible.
• Collaborate across regions and silos and guide technology planning.
