Job summary

Wayve in London or Sunnyvale is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the Product Engineering group within our AI Engineering organisation. You will report to the VP of Autonomy and own the technical vision for autonomous driving capabilities from data to production.

You will build and guide multiple teams across Driving, ADAS, Parking and HMI, define data curriculums, drive KPI targets and ensure deliverables align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Delivered autonomy products based on complex AI models.
• Experience leading large, multi-layered engineering teams.
• Domain experience in autonomy, autopilot/navigation, or ADAS.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision, strategy and metrics for your area.
• Frame autonomous driving as data-driven problems and design data curriculums.
• Drive KPI targets with high predictability and resource efficiency.
• Partner with senior leadership to maintain a culture of impact, performance, and health.
• Build capabilities across the division and develop engineers as Wayve grows.
