Job summary

Molex's Industrial Solutions segment in Lisle, IL seeks a Segment Director for Automation Connectivity to accelerate growth and profitability with full P&L ownership and product development oversight. You will lead the segment, drive voice of the customer, manage interface with R&D, sales and operations, and build a high-performance team to expand into new markets.

The role requires 10+ years in industrial automation, a business or engineering degree (MBA preferred), and willingness to travel;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial engineering; 10+ years in automation.
• Proven experience driving strategy and talent transformation.
• Experience with financials, pricing, and analytics.
• Strong customer relationships and senior management stakeholder experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Lisle, IL and travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Automation Connectivity segment to drive growth and profitability.
• Own growth through voice of customer, product ownership, and development.
• Champion innovation in power and interconnect technologies.
• Lead and coach the team; gain senior sponsorship and remove barriers.
• Present opportunities and align with other functions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Finance, HR, Procurement and Operations.
• Partner with sales to support customers and develop the pipeline.
