Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Director, AP Operations in Brentwood, TN. The role leads the centralized AP function, driving day-to-day execution, staffing, and service delivery across facilities.

Hybrid work with on-site presence required Monday through Wednesday ensures close collaboration with the corporate office and facilities. The role emphasizes platform rollout, process improvements, and onboarding new facilities while maintaining accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in Accounts Payable or finance operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in centralized/shared-services AP model preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AP/procure-to-pay platforms and payment automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational performance of centralized AP, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage the AP Manager and centralized AP staff, ensuring coverage and accountability.
• Roll out and optimize AP platforms (Coupa, Capturis) at the operations level.
• Support onboarding of new facilities into centralized AP and ensure compliance with processes.
