Job summary

Gartner is seeking an experienced analyst to advise General Counsel and assurance leaders from large global companies. You will research trends, publish insights, and participate in client discussions to drive board governance, risk management, and the future of the legal function.

You will present to executives, collaborate with internal experts, and contribute to Gartner’s leadership in AI and enterprise risk management.

Qualifications

12+ years of relevant experience including experience as an in-house corporate lawyer.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
JD degree strongly preferred.
Experience presenting to the board and leading risk management efforts.
Knowledge of GC role or similar executive function (AGC/DGC).
Experience advising senior leaders (CEO, GC, Board).
Executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders.
High learning agility in matrixed, fast-changing environments.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients daily via phone, videoconference, and events to deliver actionable research.
Research practices, trends, and technology to produce insights for General Counsel and assurance leaders.
Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, webinars, and client briefings.
Provide market voice to support Gartner's commercial team and client engagements.
Review peers' research for quality and credibility; represent Gartner insights and methodolgy.
