Job Summary:
The Director, Americas Sales is responsible for the coordination and leadership of all North and South America based sales activities with direct management of the regional sales team and US sales channel. This role reports to the DVP, Commercial Management. To be successful, the person in this role will be highly detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to closing deals. The candidate will build and guide a growth-oriented sales organization while driving an effective strategy that significantly increases the company’s market share. This person will also play a key role shaping AMETEK’s strategic plan and providing the tactical tools for achieving the plan. This role is a key executive leadership position that will have responsibility to drive the short- and long-term growth of the business.
