Job summary

BNY is seeking a Director to join the Pershing Treasury team in New York. You will lead ALM matters relating to the broker-dealer balance sheet, drive funding initiatives, and ensure governance and reporting excellence.

Responsibilities include presenting ALM materials to governance bodies, updating policies, and coordinating with Risk, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure compliance. This role emphasizes automation, analytics, and effective risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in finance or economics; MBA or FINRA licenses preferred.
• 7–10+ years in ALM/Treasury at broker-dealers or banks with liquidity expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of broker-dealer capital, liquidity & funding sources.
• Experience automating reporting with Excel, AI and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Lead ALM matters for broker-dealer balance sheet monitoring and reporting.
• Drive initiatives to support funding, capital and liquidity positions.
• Ensure compliance with limits and escalate breaches.
• Prepare governance materials and maintain minutes for ALCO/Boards.
