Job summary

Cvent is seeking a Director, AI Transformation within Cvent Consulting to lead customer-facing AI transformation work for Fortune 500 clients, shaping how the platform delivers outcomes. You will partner with Sales, Product, Technology, and Marketing to define repeatable services and co-sell opportunities.

This consulting-led role requires building executive relationships, translating client needs into product requirements, and driving high-quality engagements from discovery through adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of related experience, including leadership of complex projects or enterprise programs
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions (generative AI, agentic workflows, API integrations)
• Experience with Fortune 500 or large enterprise customers on AI initiatives
• Track record turning customer outcomes into solutions and product requirements
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or SaaS; coaching talent and building teams
• Strong project/program management skills; ability to manage scope, milestones, and budgets
• Financial/analytical capability; experience assessing profitability and operating performance
• Strong executive communication and ability to influence stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 15%; able to spend time on-site with clients

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing AI transformation engagements with Fortune 500 customers; understand goals and design how Cvent helps achieve outcomes
• Roll out headless versions of Cvent on client proprietary tech; define success measures and capture lessons for future opportunities
• Define joint go-to-market, packaging, and co-selling strategies with Sales, Product, and Marketing
• Translate customer outcomes into input for product/technology roadmap; align platform to client usage of AI
• Build executive relationships with client/partner leadership; represent Cvent in meetings and industry events
• Develop AI transformation partnerships with major clients and technology ecosystem partners
• Collaborate with Sales on business development; shape opportunities and proposals
• Develop repeatable services and IP (AI readiness assessments, playbooks, reference approaches)
• Oversee engagement lifecycle: scope, staffing, milestones, governance; manage risks and budgets
• Track outcomes, adoption, pipeline, and revenue; report and adjust plans
• Coach and grow AI transformation team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement
• Stay aligned with Sales, Technology, Marketing on emerging AI trends and market needs
