Job summary

BBB National Programs seeks a Director of IT & AI Intelligent Systems to define and execute AI capabilities across the organization's portfolio. The role is hands-on, designing and delivering AI-powered solutions, integrating with Decisions, AWS Bedrock, and connected APIs to drive measurable impact.

The candidate will own the AI strategy, orchestrate architectures, manage vendor relationships, and enable enterprise-wide AI adoption while collaborating with CIO leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in technology roles, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML implementation and deployment.
• Experience owning a technology or AI strategy/roadmap, including prioritizing initiatives and reporting progress to executives.
• Experience designing and deploying AI or intelligent automation solutions in enterprise settings.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, or equivalent).
• Experience integrating AI capabilities via APIs and managing data pipelines, vector databases, or RAG architecture.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and write technical requirements.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Roadmap: Execute multi-year AI roadmap across BBB NP's ecosystem.
• AI Orchestration & Integration: Design and deploy AI pipelines and integrate with existing systems.
• Vendor & Outsourced Development Governance: Manage vendor relationships and delivery standards.
• AWS AI/ML Estate Ownership: Ensure secure, cost-effective use of AWS AI resources.
• Internal Enablement & Change Management: Build AI literacy and drive adoption across business units.
