Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Director of AI Security to lead the team securing internal AI platforms, copilots, agents, and model deployments. You will craft the function strategy, build the team, and ensure security controls across the AI lifecycle.

You will partner across Cybersecurity, CIO, AI Platform, and business teams, communicating risk posture and investment needs to executives. A strong technical leadership background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity or related fields

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, coach, and develop the AI Security team with clear roles, priorities, delivery expectations, and career paths.
• Own the team charter, roadmap, intake model, service catalog, operating rhythm, budget priorities, metrics, and executive reporting.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for enterprise AI security.
• Direct reusable controls for AI applications, runtimes, gateways, orchestration services, and model platforms.
• Oversee AI threat modeling, architecture review, adversarial testing, code and agent testing, telemetry, and remediation.
• Drive material AI risks to remediation, approved exception, or explicit risk acceptance.
• Partner across Cybersecurity, CIO, AI Platform, AI Governance, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Legal, Privacy, Procurement, and business teams.
• Brief executives on posture, material risks, investment needs, tradeoffs, and recommended decisions.
