Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Director to own the GH&B AI-Ready Data Foundation & Governance in New York City. You will lead the data warehouse, ontologies, and data governance across manufacturing, supply, pricing, and commercial data to enable AI-ready analytics and trusted data for decision-makers.

You will collaborate with enterprise data teams, oversee production data platforms like Snowflake, Athena, and dashboards, and manage data quality, lineage, and security in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s with 7+ years; or PhD with 5+ years.
• Experience in data architecture, data management, data engineering, or data governance.
• Pharmaceutical, biosimilars, or hospital-market experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise data warehouses or AI-ready data platforms.
• High proficiency in SQL and Python; production code experience.
• Experience with unstructured data (documents, transcripts, images) processing for AI.
• Hands-on with data cataloguing and governance workflows (e.g., Collibra).

Responsibilities

• Own the GH&B AI Ready Data Warehouse (Snowflake) and its data model.
• Establish ontologies and semantic relationships across GH&B data domains.
• Own end-to-end data governance and data quality monitoring.
• Ensure production reliability for data applications and dashboards.
• Monitor data quality and drift for AI/ML models and coordinate with analytics teams.
• Maintain version control, testing, and release processes for data assets.
• Manage access controls and documentation for GH&B data platforms.
