Job summary

AMETEK in the United States is seeking a Director of Artificial Intelligence to own and deliver the division’s AI‑driven value creation agenda. This leader will identify, prioritize, deploy, and scale AI initiatives that drive measurable revenue growth, margin expansion, productivity improvements, and compliance strength.

You will embed AI into forecasting, pricing, production planning and customer engagement, and lead deployment across operations and SG&A.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business leadership, operations, product management, analytics, or technology-enabled transformation.
• Demonstrated ownership of financial outcomes (revenue growth, cost reduction, margin expansion).
• Experience prioritizing investments and managing tradeoffs under capital constraints.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI, advanced analytics, and modern digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver AI-driven value creation agenda across the division.
• Embed AI-enabled decision-making into operating rhythms (forecasting, pricing reviews, production planning, customer engagement).
• Lead AI adoption to improve EBITDA, margins, productivity, and compliance.
• Build and manage a portfolio of AI initiatives aligned with division strategy.
• Ensure AI governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Scale proven AI use cases across business units.
• Develop AI literacy and champion adoption among leadership and teams.
• Partner with commercial and product leaders to embed AI in workflows.
• Structure pilots and external partnerships for time-to-value.
