Ladders is seeking a Director, Product Software Engineering - AI to own the engineering vision and roadmap for AI-enabled software products, guiding multiple teams through modernization and transformation. The role focuses on building scalable cloud-native solutions, strengthening engineering standards, and advancing intelligent product capabilities across the business.

The ideal candidate will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to turn complex needs into practical technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with progressive leadership.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and multiple teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native software products on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience leading teams building AI-enabled products.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI governance.

• Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-enabled software products.
• Lead multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive organizational transformation through modern engineering and AI capabilities.
