Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Director of Product Software Engineering – AI to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of AI-powered software at scale. Build and mentor high-performing teams while partnering with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to solve complex customer problems.

You will shape engineering vision, drive adoption of modern cloud, AI, and DevOps practices, and foster a culture of experimentation and measurable business value in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering with progressive leadership.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and multiple software teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native software on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with AI-enabled products, LLMs, RAG, and AI governance.
• Proficient in modern software architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile.
• Strong experience leading teams building AI-enabled products.
• Experience using AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
• Customer-centric product development and co-design experience.
• Experience driving engineering strategy and execution within a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling engineering organizations.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap for Firm Intelligence products and platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product strategy.
• Drive organizational transformation through modern engineering, cloud, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards, development frameworks, and best practices that improve quality, speed, and scalability.
