Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Director of Cyber Defense—Security Operations & Offensive Security to build and operate a modern cyber defense capability. You will own strategy, people, services, technology, and operating models across enterprise IT, cloud, identity, data, and connected-product ecosystems.

You will lead an AI-native security program emphasizing automation-first design, detection-as-code, and governed AI agents, with a strong focus on speed, resilience, and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years of cybersecurity experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Cyber Defense strategy, roadmap, and operating model across IT, cloud, identity, apps, data, OT, and connected-product services.
• Own 24x7x365 Security Operations including monitoring, detection, threat hunting, incident response, forensics, and MDR performance.
• Serve as senior incident commander for high-severity events with evidence, escalation, recovery, and reporting for executives and regulators.
• Lead Offensive Security program including pen-testing, red teaming, adversary emulation, and control validation.
• Design AI-native security services with automation, APIs, and governed AI agents.
