Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC seeks a Director of Cyber Defense to lead the enterprise cyber defense, including threat hunting, IR, and threat intelligence across a multi-tenant ecosystem. You will architect AI-enabled defenses, govern AI usage, and coordinate cross-entity responses with senior leadership.

Ideal candidates bring deep Microsoft security expertise, a track record building teams, and experience applying AI/ML at scale in security operations. This role reports to the CISO Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• 10+ years in cyber defense or security operations with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience applying AI/ML and automation to security operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature enterprise cyber defense function across detection engineering, IR, threat intelligence, hunting, and DFIR.
• Direct 24x7 global IT security monitoring across a multi-tenant environment.
• Lead the development of an agentic cyber defense model with human-in-the-loop controls.
