Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced Director, DC Operations to lead the operational performance of its North Carolina campus. This senior role oversees day-to-day operations, readiness, maintenance, incident response, risk management, and team development in a high-availability data center.

You will partner with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, IT/AI Infrastructure, Security, EHS, Procurement to ensure the campus is operationally ready, scalable, and safe.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in mission-critical operations or data centers.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Proven ability to manage safety, availability, and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

Provide overall operational leadership for the NC campus and its critical infrastructure.
Establish and maintain operating standards, escalation paths, and readiness programs.
Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, IT/AI Infrastructure, Security, and EHS.
