Nscale is searching for a Director of Operations & Maintenance to lead the O&M organization for the Monarch Compute Campus in Mason County, WV. This pivotal role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of a large-scale AI facility, ensuring compliance, and building a local team.

The ideal candidate has over 15 years in operations leadership, particularly in power generation or hyperscale data centers. Competitive salary and benefits package provided, including a range of $160,000 - $210,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of operations leadership experience in power generation or data centers.
• Experience managing large operational teams (100+ people).
• Demonstrated experience with greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the O&M organization for the Monarch Compute Campus.
• Define and implement the Monarch operating model.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory obligations.
