Job summary

The City of New York's NYC Department for the Aging seeks a Director, Aging Connect Operations to lead the Aging Connect unit in supporting older New Yorkers through information, referrals, and partnerships.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Aging Connect, the Director will coordinate programs with NY Connects, guide staff, oversee HR processes, monitoring budgets, and produce regular performance reports while ensuring compliance with state program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience in social services or public administration, including 1.5 years in administrative or managerial capacity.
• Ability to recruit, train, and retain staff and onboarding consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Director with planning and implementing NYC Aging goals and Aging Connect priorities.
• Monitor day-to-day Aging Connect activities and serve as a point of contact for operations, program and budget matters.
• Support Aging Connect Directors with developing, planning, and executing projects.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and retaining staff and onboarding consultants and completing HR documents.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on Aging Connect call data and Medicare metrics.
• Monitor data systems including CISCO, CTS, and VIVE.
• Supervise volunteer program staff and partnerships.
