Job summary

Portledge School is seeking a dynamic, full-time Auxiliary Programs Director to oversee After School Ed Programming, Rentals and a new Summer enrichment program. The role combines day-to-day management with strategic program development, staffing, enrollment and operations, reporting to the Controller.

The position requires managing budgets, coordinating with Communications, and ensuring safety and compliance across programs, while serving as the primary contact for participating families.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in auxiliary programs, after-school or summer programming.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, revenue/expense tracking, and reporting to leadership.
• Knowledge of internal controls and vendor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee After School Programs, Rentals/Educational Events, and Summer Programming.
• Develop schedules, staff supervision, and on-site operations.
• Manage budgets and ensure profitability & sustainability.
• Coordinate with Communications on marketing materials and events.
• Ensure licensing, safety regulations, and family communications.
