Job summary

AECOM Advisory seeks a Director to lead the US West Region. You will drive business development, oversee delivery, and mentor a team of consultants.

The role demands strong client-facing skills, financial acumen, and experience in project finance, infrastructure, and enterprise strategy. You will coordinate with multiple teams, shape solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables for senior clients while managing complex projects and cashflow analyses.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (preferably in a STEM discipline) and at least 10 years of management consulting and/or related industry experience.
• MBA, or other Master’s degree in Operational Research, Management, Management Science, Finance, Economics, Systems Engineering and/or related fields.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with ArcGIS and other spatial analysis tools; Quantitative/statistical programs such as R or Python; Evaluation of financial cashflows, particularly public finance, via Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and originate opportunities in the US West region.
• Oversee engagement delivery and support practice development.
• Lead proposal responses as Capture Manager with cross-team coordination.
• Manage delivery teams (5-8 consultants) across multiple workstreams.
• Lead client interactions and communicate progress to C-suite and senior management.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and ensure quality deliverables.
