Job summary

Jambalaya Group seeks a Director of Advisor Development to lead coaching, training, and accountability for Financial Advisors and Associate Financial Advisors. Reporting to the Managing Partner, this role strengthens advisor skills and delivers exceptional client experiences with comprehensive advice.

The successful leader will combine strong people leadership with meaningful financial-services experience and an insurance background. This is a full-time, exempt position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive financial-services experience with advisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Five+ years of demonstrated people leadership, coaching, or advisor development.
• Meaningful insurance experience and ability to coach on protection strategies within a plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for advisor development and drive key performance measures.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and group mentoring sessions.
• Develop onboarding and skill-development curricula for new Associates.
• Lead structured accountability sessions translating priorities into execution.
• Use data and SMART goals to identify gaps and create action plans.
• Build and continuously improve a comprehensive advisor development program.
• Coordinate licensing, credentialing, and education with leadership and compliance.
• Report quarterly progress on advisor performance against annual goals.
• Travel to practice locations for team development as needed.
