Jambalaya Group seeks a Director of Advisor Development to lead coaching, training, and accountability for Financial Advisors and Associate Financial Advisors. Reporting to the Managing Partner, this role strengthens advisor skills and client experience through a structured, outcomes-driven program.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in financial services, 5+ years leading people, meaningful insurance experience, and proven ability to develop early-career professionals while maintaining trust

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive financial-services experience in advisor roles or leadership.
• Minimum five years of demonstrated people leadership, coaching, or advisor-development experience.
• Meaningful insurance experience and the ability to coach advisors on protection strategies.
• Track record of developing early-career professionals and fostering accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for advisor development and drive progress against strategic measures.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with advisors and mentor group sessions as needed.
• Build and deliver a dedicated educational curriculum for Associate Financial Advisors.
• Lead structured accountability sessions translating priorities into execution.
• Develop and continuously improve a comprehensive advisor development and training program.
• Coach advisors on client conversations, discovery, and comprehensive planning including insurance strategies.
