Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Director for the Recovery from Addictions Program to manage the statewide M-WRAP for individuals admitted under MGL chapter 123 §35. This temporary sick leave backfill oversees clinical and administrative services, including contracts, with 24/7 operations to support vulnerable populations.

The role ensures rights protection, coordination with courts, judges, clinicians, correctional facilities, and providers, and the development of innovative treatment

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time or equivalent experience in administrative, clinical or managerial roles with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Substitutions: certificate substitutes 1 year; Bachelor's substitutes 2 years; Graduate degree substitutes 3 years; Doctorate substitutes 4 years.
• Salary placement per HR Guidelines; bargaining unit details apply for non-management positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sufficient staff for 24/7 clinical and administrative operations.
• Implement and oversee clinical and non-clinical programs within the WM RAP.
• Develop program strategies for individuals committed under s.35.
• Coordinate clinical case reviews for access barriers and service delivery.
• Support special projects for risk mitigation and service enhancement.
• Ensure protection of consumers' legal and human rights.
• Build relationships with judges, court staff, facilities, boards and providers.
• Develop and evaluate innovative treatment approaches for best-practice care.
