Job summary

Americo Financial Life and Annuity seeks an experienced Actuarial Modeler to lead modeling functions across life and annuity portfolios. Ideal for an ASA or FSA with modeling background, you will guide financial reporting model governance and team leadership.

You will oversee Prophet 360 modeling environment, contribute to valuation, ALM and ERM, and mentor actuarial staff in a fully in-office role based in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Qualifications

• ASA or FSA designation required.
• 5 years actuarial experience including management or team leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Prophet 360 or MG ALFA.

Responsibilities

• Lead model development to support actuarial projections.
• Maintain and enhance Prophet 360 models for life and annuity projections.
• Ensure accuracy of reserves and model results through validation and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk and IT for audit readiness and governance.
