Job summary

Akur8 is expanding its Life & Annuity presence in North America. We seek a highly motivated Senior Life Actuary who will design, build, and support SLOPE actuarial models, run platform demos to prospects, and train clients.

You will work with a team of actuarial and R&D professionals to modernize actuarial pricing and reserving with transparent modeling technology, across Life, Annuity, and Health products. Fluency in English is required and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified actuary (ASA/FSA) or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant actuarial experience across Life/Annuity products.
• Experience with one or more actuarial modeling platforms (Slope, Axis, ALFA, Prophet) and ability to communicate model value.
• Strong modelling, technology affinity, and ability to learn quickly in a fast-growing company.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing capabilities for demos, onboarding and support.

Responsibilities

• Be a client-facing SME providing model best practices, onboarding, issue resolution, and feedback.
• Run product demos and pilots to demonstrate SLOPE platform capabilities.
• Design, build, and maintain Life, Annuity, and Health models and reports.
• Monitor regulatory updates and translate to modeling requirements.
• Contribute to thought leadership via conferences, webinars, and marketing support.
• Prioritize new platform features to improve customer experience.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
