Job summary

Versant seeks a dynamic Director of Accounting for TV Networks HQ Central to lead critical accounting operations across the TV Networks businesses. You will oversee the Central Services Agreement governance with NBCUniversal, manage month-end close, and drive ERP transformation and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to media or content distribution environments, and a CPA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
CPA certification is required or CPA eligibility.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Public company and/or Big Four experience preferred.
Strong technical accounting knowledge including GAAP, close processes, and SOX.

Responsibilities

Lead accounting for CSA with NBCUniversal and cross-brand transactions.
Oversee month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting for Central Accounting.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ERP transformations.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and company policies.
