Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Directional Drill Operator to safely operate directional drilling equipment, locate underground utility paths, and support telecommunications construction activities. You will operate heavy equipment, perform drilling operations, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

This role requires at least 1 year of directional drilling experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate directional drilling equipment and other construction equipment following safety policies.
• Drill and locate predetermined paths while avoiding utilities.
• Set up, breakdown, load/unload equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with conduit placement, potholing utilities, rigging, concrete work, and asphalt placement.
• Inspect equipment and review jobsite conditions, communicating progress to supervisors.
• Follow safety standards and company policies in active construction environments.
• Additional responsibilities may be required based on business needs.
