Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications infrastructure in Minnesota. You will determine bore paths, safely operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities by potholing, all while maintaining bore schedules and performing site setup and maintenance in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and related setup design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
