Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC in Willmar, Minnesota seeks a Traveling Directional Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecom cables. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and operate drilling equipment while maintaining bore schedules and ensuring safety on site.

The role requires driving, working in various conditions, and willingness to travel extensively. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Travel up to 100% of the time.
• Other duties as assigned.
