Job summary

Talus Development is seeking field crew personnel to support our communications infrastructure projects across the Phoenix area. You will learn to safely install conduit structures, pull fiber and coax, and wire battery systems under supervision, following industry standards.

Applicants must have a valid AZ driver license, be able to lift 70 lbs, complete Safety Steward training within 90 days, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid AZ driver license with clean record.
• Requires ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Safety Steward training within 90 days of hire.
• Prepared to learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail while following instruction.
• Commitment to safety and quality per standards and practices.
• Operates machinery after training.
• Reads and interprets gov’t agency permit drawings.
• Reads fiber and coax design prints.

Responsibilities

• Place PS cabinets and commercial power feed conduits.
• Wires back up battery systems and PS modules.
• Installs Fiber ODN & OLT Cabinets and power conduits.
• Hangs MDU wall mount lock boxes.
• Assist crew to pull fiber and/or coaxial cables.
• Interpret utility locating marks and government permit drawings.
• Correlation of map locations to field reality.
• Locate and repair damaged conduit and/or cable.
• Ensure crew follows safety policy criteria.

• Ensures crewmembers follow all safety policy criteria
• Accountable to complete job-related tracking of production, time & as-built information
• Responsible for Job Hazard Analysis upon arrival at job site
• Performs vehicle and equipment safety checks
• Places PS cabinets and commercial power feed conduits
• Wires back up battery systems and PS modules
• Installs Fiber ODN & OLT Cabinets and power conduits as needed
