Job summary

Talus Development, LLC is seeking workers for field construction and underground telecom cabling installation. You will perform general construction tasks under supervision, dig trenches by hand, and operate various trucks and machinery. Travel to out-of-town sites is required and safety is emphasized.

The role involves outdoor work in diverse environments, lifting heavy loads, and coordinating with crews to ensure timely, safe project execution. Company benefits support growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Climb into and out of equipment such as cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Know and obey all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations.
• Able to perform repetitive motions and work outdoors in diverse environments.
• Able to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel for out-of-town assignments.

Responsibilities

• Performs general construction work under the direction of a Foreman/Supervisor
• Hand dig holes and trenches with a shovel and other hand tools
• Basic knowledge of underground cable locating
• Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment
• Responsible for transporting equipment and materials
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Flagging traffic, setup safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers
• Performs daily walkarounds and alerts mechanics of any defects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees
• Willing to travel. This position requires occasional travel for out-of-town assignments.

Qualifications
