Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Directed Energy Test Technician to support the Test and Training Group. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic systems per specs, read diagrams/blueprints, and multitask across projects.

You will assemble and maintain UAS platforms, serve as remote pilot in command, and work with engineers to plan and analyze live-fire tests, ensuring safety and data quality on site and in the field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on technical maintenance or field service experience.
• High school diploma required; associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• Proficiency in soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication and control panel building.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, lift up to 35 pounds, and work with industrial chemicals and adhesives.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and maintain UAS platforms to meet target profiles.
• Serve as remote pilot in command for UAS target flights during live-fire tests.
• Integrate sensors, telemetry gear, and tracking aids on UAS platforms.
• Perform pre/post-flight inspections and troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Draft Test Incident Reports and ensure data integrity from tests.
• Work across multiple projects and document procedures thoroughly.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
