Job summary

Rite Rug Co is seeking a motivated Design Consultant to join our team in the Cincinnati area. You will work within our mobile showrooms to assist customers with design and selection of flooring products, driving sales and building lasting relationships.

With a base salary plus commission and comprehensive benefits, top performers can reach six figures. You will conduct outside B2B sales and coordinate measurements for installation while delivering exceptional customer service.

Design Consultant - Mobile Showroom

The Design Consultant works within our mobile showrooms to help our customers with the design and selection of our flooring products.

Salary + Commission (Up to 6 figures) plus full benefits!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating the selection and sales process along with building and maintaining customer relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships

• Take measurements for installation
• Receive and process payments according to Rite Rug procedures

• Develop a thorough knowledge of all flooring products
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 1. Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2. Flooring experience preferred.
• 3. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• 4. Must be a self-starter and a people person.
• 5. Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• 6. Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• 7. Be able to work independently and problem solve.
• 8. Be comfortable working with and learning computer systems
• 9. Must be eager to learn and to grow!

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using Measure Square or RFMS Measure software.

This position will offer a base salary plus commission structure and training will be provided
